My Recovery
Pilates gave me a way back into my own body.
After breast cancer surgeries left me with limited mobility, Pilates helped me restore how I moved and reduce the back and neck pain I had carried for years. Later, after a fall from my horse shattered my knee, I already knew the kind of patient, progressive work my body needed. That recovery now informs how I coach riders and anyone rebuilding strength after injury, surgery, or chronic pain.
Movement became personal
My Approach
I am not interested in forcing bodies into a template.
I look at where someone is limited in mobility, strength, and confidence, then build from there. No guessing. No generic program. The work changes because the person in front of me changes.
Careful, individualized coaching
What Keeps Me Here
My favorite sentence starts with, “I can do this again.”
The moment I never get tired of is hearing that someone returned to something they had stopped doing, or did something they never thought their body was capable of. That is the progress that matters most to me.
